Great people Most of the leadership team does care a lot about staff & the success of the college Northern is really involved in the community

Pros

you can take pride working for an entity that is held in high esteem within the local community. Health benefits are average. Work/life balance can be good when you advocate for it.

Cons

Good luck getting a promotion or raise. Administration believes there is a benefit to hiring from outside. You are lucky to get a raise that *might* cover cost of inflation. Requests for professional development are denied, even when its a requirement for the position you hold.
