Pros
One of few still providing a pension, doors are generally open to those wanting the learn and network within the firm. Very client-centric focus. there is a fair amount of job safety and those laid off in the past have been treated fairly.
Cons
Pay is generally speaking lower than the industry average and internal bumps are difficult because of nonsense HR policies. Many people leave and come back or get external offers to force the company's hand. It seems that some areas are resigned to losing people assets instead of focusing on how to keep them and attract new ones.
