Pros

Good work life balance. Depends on your manager, but was able to choose your schedule from a regular to 9/80 to a 4/10 schedule. Didn't do to much until you get cleared for work. 401k matching up to a certain amount.

Cons

A good and bad thing is you don't get to too much. Might be a pro. You do a lot of waiting until you get the necessary clearance for your work. You have to maintain the clearance so you have more limitations when traveling or interacting with foreigners. Highly dependent on program, but you may be put in a high pace and stressful environment or you don't do anything. No sick days and PTO accrual for the first year is small. 401 k matching is only vested after 3 years,
