      Salaries, convenient only if you live in Long Island

      Cons

      Work life balance bad, Nepotism and favoritism to people without merit, no flexibility, benefits terrible, revenue machine without consideration of humanity. Penny wise and dollar foolish.

      it is a pure cult like atmosphere - if you don't drink the system, you are ostracized by the supervisors and management - you cant make this stuff up.

      Salaries are competitive for Long Island, especially if you're clinical. A lot of opportunities for lateral movement if you know how to navigate the politics.

      Cons

      There is a lot of nepotism and cronyism. Opportunities for advancement are for those who can navigate the politics. If your goal is to get into leadership, you'll have to stay on top of your game, and become well-liked by someone at the top.
