Pros

Laid back, non-pressure work environment. Ok benefits; not great, though.

Cons

People stay at NWA a long time so, opportunities to move up are somewhat limited. 401(k) match is not great. Vacation is only 10 days for the first 5 years, regardless if you're right out of university or have 20 years experience. Salaries are only average for WA state. People here do not socialize outside of work. Don't expect any Friday after-work happy hours with colleagues.

Pros

The benefits are okay and some of the work is interesting.

Cons

The company gave employees working from home four weeks right before the start of the school year to prepare for returning to office. They also had very little information for employees with questions. Also, inconsistent rules are being applied to who can and can’t continue to be remote full time. Employees with the least seniority are being allowed to stay home and all employees hired prior are being placed under strict rules.

We appreciate your willingness to share your concerns. Like many employers, NWA is returning to an office-based work environment while still embracing work from home opportunities. We are making every effort to address personal situations that the return to the office transition can create. Additionally, work location and schedules are based upon multiple factors, such as the type of work performed, performance, business, etc. versus seniority. If you have questions that you do feel have been addressed, please discuss with your supervisor or manager.
