Pros

Northwestern has a decent training program and it can be very lucrative if you stay in the job long enough.

Cons

You have a lot of expenses to pay out up front. This varies between offices but it is still a lot when there is not a lot of money coming in at first. Get your Series 6 and 63 right away so you can sell all products available.

Pros

You get to set your own hours and once you get everything organized and going the job becomes easier to do.

Cons

The payment is slow starting up and if you do not know a large number of people it is hard to get going.

Pros

You have the flexiblity to make your own schedule, as well as the option to truly make any salary you desire.

Cons

There aren't too many cons to this career other than it being purely commission. But that really is one of the great things about it though if you can handle it.
