Pros

I was employed there, it was nice to have a job. Really not much to say - free coffee in the break room.

Cons

This entire organization is effectively a pyramid scheme. Financial Associates are paid by commission only and so their incentive is to get as many clients as possible no matter what. They are not a fiduciary when it comes to investment advising so they’re only recommending Northwestern Mutuals funds to benefit the company, rather than the client. I was paid cash only under the table and the Associates that employed me refused to provide me with a health insurance option. Don’t work here, period. I got out of here as soon as I possibly could and found a better job.
