Pros

The people are by and large well-meaning and caring. This is the first company I've ever worked at where they gave a cost of living increase and annual bonuses on top of it. They are investing in training and growing their leadership from within and they walk the talk when it comes to inclusion and diversity. Their insurance is very affordable and provides really good coverage. I'm very pleased with the benefits. The company is working on scaling up in technology, infrastructure, and applications to gain enterprise-wide advantages of doing business. It even has an innovation lab to better position it to move ahead by embracing technology in the clinical and non-clinical spaces of the company. Novant Health is leading the ways. I'm proud to be a part of the company.

Cons

It's a hospital system and it's in 24/7 operation. There are no paid company holidays. Instead, they give you 25 days to use towards sick leave and paid time off. Like other hospital systems, there is a lot of employee turnover.
