      In hindsite, I would never have moved to Wilmington, NC

      Pros

      The people I worked with were professional, caring, educated and hard working. We worked closely as a team and always covered each other. This is not so true of other floors.

      Cons

      There is only one hospital to work for here in this town and they own most of the outlying facilities also, so they corner the market and are able to dictate salaries. Most of the NURSES live under the poverty level and are only able to make due by having a second job.

      A hospital without a soul due to administration

      Pros

      A paycheck.While allowing the public to come to the hospital and assault the staff is an often occurrance.

      Cons

      The Administrator has no leadership skills, micromanagement is her downfall having a masters degree doesn't necessarily make a person semi intelligent. Untruthful Public Safety Managers who aren't honest nor display integrity nor loyalty.

      Greedy senior leadership, cut most of the programs that make employees feel valued, only care about finances, not remarkable, spending a whole lot of money on branding which no one cares about, top heavy leadership, still adding at upper level while taking away at lower
