Pros
Senior management has the best intentions and spends money and effort on building up company morale. They are positively involved in the community and put effort into developing policies with the patient in mind.
Cons
Senior and upper management are so disconnected from the bedside that they commonly fail to see the flaws in their policies until they affect the patient directly.
