      Insurance is decent and has a 401K.

      Cons

      Leadership dictates the office manager is superior to the physicians and providers. You will be bossed around by someone who has no idea what you are doing and really does not care. you are a money making machine.

      (1) Extra pay for nights, extra pay for weekends. (2) Cheap insurance. (3) Newer patrol cars , (4) promotions if you get in trouble a lot (5) most calls are easy to deal with or provide good practical training for dealing with mental health issues (6) you get to know officers at every other department in the area, so you'll have rapport with them when you leave (7) no orders are written down so if you "forget" to do something then you're covered

      Cons

      (1) No cohesion between squads. (2) Mandatory 12 hour on-call shifts every other week but you are only paid for 2 hours. (3) No training program. (4) no policies or procedures. (5) no opportunity for advancement
