      Pros

      Great teamwork. The people I worked with made the job. Even the coordinators and the manager were amazing. Great opportunities to expand/move to another unit. Additional education provided frequently. Great learning experience. Doctors on the unit were easy to talk to.

      Cons

      Too many patients per nurse at times. Overwhelming. On a unit with the majority being new nurses. At times, all new nurses making the floor feeling overwhelmed. Certain "bad seed" employees, when discussed with management, sometimes little was ever done.

      Pros

      Novant Health provides great insurance benefits for employees. Although this is a healthcare compnay, there are many job opportunities for non-clinical persons. The atmosphere in my department is relaxed and is very team oriented. There are many locations in the state of North Carolina, so options are extensive.

      Cons

      There could be more room for advancement.
