      Pros

      Novant is a great health care environment, that provides excellent care to all patients. There are a great number of terrific people who work for Novant and there is a family atmosphere of caring.

      Cons

      It has been my experience that Novant claims to want to be a leader in health care but often follow other institutions when it comes to basing salaries and benefits.

      Pros

      I think that the best reason for me to work at Novant is the insurance benefits and the PTO time.

      Cons

      I'm at work 10 hour days at a fast paced doctors' office. I get 1 hour for lunch, but no breaks in between. I think we need a float nurse so that we can get a 15 min. break in the morning and a 15 min. break in the afternoon. It is hard to stand on your feet all day with no break. At this rate, I will eventually burn out.
