There is a massive double standard for leadership. Management curses and avoids responsibility. They are an echo chamber of how great we are and that the individual contributor is to blame. Credentials are used to hold you in your position while white men in their 40s/50s make rules for themselves and punish other who follow their lead. Lead by example or by the culture is a myth. The return to office policy has not worked as directors and sr managers will not participate in meetings despite sitting in the building with the event accepted
