Pros

Can-do culture, good relations between operators and engineers. Capital being invested, decent maintenance of equipment (there's always more that can be done, but more recent experience has shown me how well Novelis did)

Cons

Corporate culture/managers from the Atlanta HQ was affecting the culture at the Oswego plant negatively. Bonus structure is pretty poor compared to similarly sized corporations

Great co-workers Concern for the community

Cons

stuck in your pay scale which isn't equal to responsibilities - exceed goals and you might get a 3% increase, if you're lucky - and don't get used to that bonus as management will find a way to get around paying it out high deductible insurance corporate management only concerned for themselves and not the people
