      Pros

      Top quality product, strong market position, modern environment, generous company with its staff, generally speaking good relationships among colleagues

      Cons

      Decisions not always what they should have been, but what was convenient to keep the chair. This made things change too fast, and was discouraging: Hard work not always recognized

      The relationships, that have been built over the years, keep employees around.

      Cons

      The Executives are making big $ and the workers are keeping the company afloat while their pay and benefits are declining. At one time, Novelis valued their employees. This is no longer the case. Employees are afraid to speak the truth for fear of losing their jobs. Matrix organization is not working. People in Atlanta office, with no experience, are directing employees with 10+ years of experience.

      Pros

      Nice offices in an expensive neighborhood. Appearances are great, great pay for the work.

      Cons

      Inept management, hostile work environment (explains the above average pay-its the only way to get and keep anyone). I have never been so demeaned in a job before. I am trying desperately to find a new job.
