Pros

Strong focus on development of employees, great colleagues, strong culture of innovation. Great internship/mentor program. I always felt plugged into cutting edge science when I worked at Novonesis.

Cons

Difficult to get pay increases that scaled with inflation. Culture of taking a long time to convert contractors to FTEs. Generally speaking, logic behind management decisions and strategies were not shared with individual contributors, which created tension when organization changes were implemented.
