Pros

The pay was very good, co-workers were wonderful. Bright, intelligent, great team players. Their dedication is rare to be found in the nuclear industry.

Cons

My experience is that supervisors and managers, well mine, are in over their heads. The ones coming from the commercial world were pretty good, the ones who didn't, not good. Clueless on leadership principles. Management seems to ignore "questioning attitude", though it is a common sales pitch to the employees. When someone dares question ANYTHING, there is a stink that follows you. Silos are very common and enforced by the leadership. Definitely a top-down leadership style. A little pompous too. If you keep your head down, ignore the ridiculous posturing of some of the "leaders", it will be fine. Unfortunately, funding is a problem right now. Very shaky.
