      Good and bad

      Pros

      Generally overall good salary and stable company.

      Cons

      Technical people not valued. No upward mobility for experienced metallurgists. Was told I could not be a manager without line supervisor experience, could not be a line supervisor as I was to valuable as a metallurgist. Took on a big project and was promised additional hires to help. They were never hired and I was rated poorly for the pace of the project.

      Redundant work. Management is not always the best. Good ol boy network. Seem to push out the better leaders. Shift work
