      Pros

      Pay was good benefits were ok hours depended on the job and location. I thought it was a great place

      Cons

      Put in 13 years of honest work between 2 divisions. Got treated like a number not a person. Trying to schedule things outside of work was a nightmare because shifts were cancelled all the time. Management doesn't care about the "teammates" only the bottom line.

      Pros

      The culture and values of Nucor is unlike anywhere else I have worked. Nucor teammates are treated like family and are empowered to make decisions and bring up ideas and solutions to management.

      Cons

      The vacation policy isn't as good, but it's still pretty average. Flexibility in work hours varies across divisions. A majority of the positions don't have a lot of room for growth, then there are a few that the opportunities are endless.
