      Pros

      The swing schedule is nice for time off if you don't mind working nights Benefits are good. Pay is based on how much your crew produces so you can make a good living if you work hard

      Cons

      When they say family oriented they really mean nucor oriented Vacation is paid at about half your normal pay the way the pay structure works Leadership(management) is completely disconnected from everything Promotions are not based on merit but on who you know

      Pros

      Nucor hires really smart, dedicated people who are really great to work with. The teammates have a lot of opportunities to take on new responsibilities and grow within their positions.

      Cons

      In a lot of areas, there isn't a lot of room for advancement. Antiquated vacation policy. Overly concerned with lean staffing over excessive consulting costs.
