I have been working here for 17 years and have had the opportunity to fill several roles, starting as a deli clerk. No matter what role I have been in, and no matter what location, I have always felt that my hard work and positive attitude have been appreciated and rewarded. The group of people that are attracted to Nugget Market are consistently upbeat, genuine individuals who enjoy other people. I have a lot of fun at work, even when a day is challenging. There are many "extras" that other employers do not offer: store parties, rafting trips, snow trips, ongoing education, scholarships, etc. Any time I have had family challenges, my leaders have been understanding and flexible and always make sure I am prioritizing family. Great life/work balance. For a retailer, the benefits are amazing. Love Nugget Market!

Cons

I have seen opportunities over the years, but they routinely get addressed and improved. The executive/corporate team are genuine, kind humans and I have seen how they prioritize associate well-being and benefits over profit.
