      Attentive management, extensive training, mentorship, kind hearted staff, knowledgeable employees, great clientele, clean place with high standards

      Can be boring during weekdays when not many shoppers are in

      Pretty simple work

      Pros

      They have really good benefits for part/full-time workers, are always having employee events, giving prizes away, and give you tons of training when you are just starting or switching roles. There are also a lot of different parts of the store so if you don't like checking you can always try something new. Lots of job security if you work hard and a company that many people stay with for their whole career.

      Cons

      The front end can get really catty and clique-ish because there are a lot of high school and college students. Management has favorites, once you're on their bad side you might as well quit. If you agree to pick up a shift, they will constantly ask you. It can be really boring a lot of the time when it's slow and it strains your feet/back.

      Pros

      Working at a grocery store is generally pretty fun, you get hours and other employees are nice! Also lots of chance of professional development and they have compensated employees well throughout the pandemic

      Cons

      Specific demographic of shoppers are very entitled and rude. Management is also not the friendliest and often schedule you outside of your availability. There’s often a view of “being a family” but the higher ups are cold and not that welcoming and expect you to make Nugget your whole life
