Pros

I learned many new skills in the way of DME, insurance, ICD-9 coding etc that I can take with me. Those were basically self taught because the training program at Numotion is laughable and basically non-existent.

Cons

Extremely stressful, extremely inadequate pay for that stress and the workload, employees are undervalued and merely heartbeats in a seat. You sink or swim. If you swim, you are unique but still not appreciated. If you sink, you become the scapegoat and all problems are blamed on you to your replacement. Training does not exist other than ridiculous time consuming webinars. Hands on, at your desk, learn by doing does not happen. You are lucky to get to sit at a desk and watch someone (who has no interest in training you) click 100 keys a second trying to keep up with their job and doesn't have time for you. If you question a policy or decision, they spin it with talk about it being a fast changing industry, Medicare changes so much, etc etc. No one takes ownership to train people correctly the FIRST time to get it done right he FIRST time. They only look for scapegoats to blame when it goes bad. If "Customer First" was really a priority, they would put employees right there next to them. The happier your employees, the better they do their job, the more nicely they treat your customers. Our management knew about this site and when they saw they had a bad review, it was a witch hunt to find out WHO said it, not WHAT was said, and HOW to fix it. They only try to protect themselves in their middle management positions. Forget about loyalty. Everyone is out for #1.
