      Great start-up to work for in Bangalore

      Pros

      Nutanix is offering 18L pa fixed compensation to BTech fresher, and one 19L for MTech this year. For experienced persons also, it is definitely in top 95% of paymaster. Work environment is also politics free, and you get to do the core development work for the product. If you wish to work in cutting edge technologies like Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, clustering etc, it is great place to work. Company promotes internal growth & gives first chance to internal employees. Employee friendly and approachable top management. Great revenue growth & very good product.

      Cons

      Work life balance is not always possible. Not much facilities except basic breakfast, lunch & snacks. Requires lots of ramp up. Heavy use of python for non core data path. Need to join as MTS irrespective of experience, title is decided later after 6-9 months. Reaching to office can be tough if not staying near to office due to heavy traffic congestion on all approach roads.

      Pros

      From an engineering point of view, if you are the type of developer who dreams big and not afraid to change the world with your work, this company is right for you. Very innovative, fast paced and lots of great talent to work with. Amazing culture.

      Cons

      Nutanix is becoming big and there's a danger of becoming a bureaucratic company with so many levels. It's not there yet though.

      Pros

      Management is good, no one asking every day what you have done. Like the way of working with personal MBO's are good. Mix of freedom to decide what to do and the responsibility that comes along with this model is great. vacation policies follows the laws where i live so these are good. Also a great product, excellent engineers and awesome support.

      Cons

      The only negative thing i can think off is the car arrangement but that is actually not a big deal and i guess it follows other big companies strategy.
