      Work/Life Balance Generally good people Strong Benefits

      Cons

      Sub-par Compensation Promotions are determined by some secret committee HR Reviews are a joke, HR tried to institute an employee grading system, like most companies have, but it failed miserably. Seems like everyone's doing a fine job, but only a few get promoted. HR and managers need to provide honest and actionable feedback to employees.

      Pros

      The company has a great culture and Mission Statement. They are well-established and have a good name in the industry. They treat their customers and employees fairly.

      Cons

      Some of the market conditions have created a situation in which the company's primary stakeholder, Madison Dearborn Partners, have been fishing for a way to get their return on their 7 year old investment. That has created a little bit of internal angst among some job classes.

      People are great. When I started, department was cohesive and camaraderie was great.

      Cons

      Change is management (and style) greatly altered the atmosphere. Not a place for career growth
