Pros
Pretty good pay increase if you are able to keep a good record and behavior The coworkers can either make or break the job honestly and my crew/facility had a lot of nice people (the lazy/rude people can make it hard sometimes tho) Has overtime opportunities in the same department or others if you can show u can work it Pretty nice when it comes to taking days off paid/not paid if u give them a heads up They have employee appreciation events randomly but personally they can be underwhelming sometimes
Cons
I have seen some big favoritism with coworkers and supervisor it's more like join them or be really isolated from growth and community They are really strict when it comes to clocking in and out and get unreasonable over a minute missed The break room can be unbearable with the overpriced snacks and crowed tables with nowhere to sit sometimes City Counter has the sad reality of working most holidays I believe Christmas and new year are off but might be wrong This can be a pro or con but there is a max cap out for pay its around 20-25 forgot which one but once u reach it theres just bonus pay which is nice for some but also makes it kinda like a wall because its either climb to higher position which is difficult with some supervisor or stay in that position for the rest of the career. you can switch departments for change but the pay doesnt change unless its cleaning van driving or security they get paid less
