Pros

This company has the brightest and kindest people I have ever worked with. I interact with many departments in my role and everyone is keen to share their knowledge with you, and help you learn. At previous companies I worked for, there was some internal competition and people would withhold information to keep themselves relevant - that is not the case here! Everyone is happy to share insight and help you be the best at your job. The leadership team is very present. There's tons of company organized events - including a program to help you reach your personal goals. It really feels like everyone is a team here. Salary & Vacation Time are competitive. O2E encourages a "going dark" policy when on vacation so you're not expected to check e-mails when you're not in the office. The office is also generally cleared out by 5pm. In summary, great coworkers, great office environment, and great compensation/perks.

Cons

The interview process is very thorough - it's not uncommon to have 5+ interviews for some of the more senior positions. It does pay off though as you work with the cream of the crop of coworkers! The annual raises are basically "cost of living", but many roles qualify for a bonus on top of the competitive base salary.

Pros

- coworkers are very friendly and support each other in getting the job done - everything here is clearly communicated and very "by the book" , there's always someone to talk to - weekly goal meetings with manager lets you get very aligned, something that not a-lot of companies have -depending on your role, workload is pretty good and you won't be overwhelmed. -compensation is fair

Cons

- promotions in Marketing isn't fair. You have team members on digital performance team, directly responsible for revenue not getting promoted for years or lack of roles created for support. Doesn't make sense to cheap out on this considering company is trying to double yearly revenue. Wouldn't you value that team a bit more than the others based on common sense as its more critical to revenue? - on the other hand, members that play a much less crucial role in revenue such as graphic designers, copywriting, content that consistently gets promoted YoY to senior or manager roles out of the blue. - lack of growth and new opportunities lead to high turnover within the department. - franchise partners tough to deal with, asking unreasonable questions about growing their business and not understanding limitations

Pros

There is a genuine focus on hiring great people and optimizing for team fit. 5 weeks vacation, profit share, decent benefits.

Cons

Your performance review doesn't at all factor into compensation review/increase, so, if you're trying to increase your salary, going over and above, at best, gets you a pat on the back. Internal promotions don't net you much of an increase either, usually <=10%
