      Pros

      Pretty good job stability here since BOCES supports schools and they aren't going anywhere. NY state benefits. The people are very nice here. Because it's public sector, it's a very relaxed work environment.

      Cons

      Because it is public sector, your earning potential is limited by the union pay scale. This is actually a pro and a con I suppose.

      Pros

      Easy work, enjoyable to work with disabled students, very flexible with time off and sick days, make your own schedule, pretty good pay for the amount of work you do

      Cons

      School hours so if you have a day job 9-5 you will not be able to do this job, only work 2-3 hours a day so even though the hourly pay is not bad, there is not enough hours to make good money
