There is no transparency with how raises/promotions are rewarded. Due to the pandemic, we were told that no one was getting raises but since then many people have received promotions/raises... It would just be nice to know why we really haven't gotten a raise in over 2 years.

Although the company was great, the department I worked in was horrible. My direct supervisor had no communication skills. The director of the department liked to have long conversations to get dirt on the other members of the team and lacked strong guidance. They didn't offer any opportunities to advance within the department and put each employee in a silo. There was extreme favoritism and no support to improve performance. The company was great, but the department I worked in was horrible.
