Lots of good support and training. Reasonably good pay. Good benefit package. At the time, KAR had a concerned, involved upper management team.

Cons

Covid was tough on the organization, and a corporate restructuring in late 2020-21 was not improving working conditions at the time of my retirement. Some of the best front-line supervisors were eliminated in favor of individuals who were more 'corporately-aligned.'

If you like the open road you will see plenty of it

Cons

Lousy leadership, next to no work hours, drive lots of miles for very little pay, audit pay is a joke. Due to constant restructuring you will be made to work in areas totally outside what you hired in for because it keeps KAR from paying a temp at the auction somewhere.STARS job assignment application is useless and management refuses to replace it. No Field Managers with any experience, replaced them with inexperienced managers from companies squired who have almost no field experience.
