Meritocracy style (old style). Profit's motivation is not fulfilling enough to engage all.

Pros

international career options for those how are ambitious; very interesting projects and technologies

Cons

As in every other big corporation, it always depends on the division and the particular supervisors. In general though, OPTIMA grew too fast and is now lacking in internal structures and a overall direction. Every board member does his own thing without living that we are all one big name.

Employees dont matter

Pros

Steady work, good people to work with, employees get along well, know how to have fun and try to keep it relaxed.

Cons

Leadership at the TOP has no regard for employee's, everyone treated like a number, employee not valued, low morale toward upper management, many looking for other options. Constantly looking to hire, not willing to pay decent wage for skilled experianced people. Wage/Salary, avg to below avg. Insurance included but poor coverage high deductibles and excuse why wages are low side of scale. Company touts how much profit it makes each year, low raises, if given, are never more than CPI if that at all. President likes to show off his new cars and fancy exspensive watch but wont give a decent raise or profit share or 401 match amount. If you have a job requires travel, plan on being away from home much more than being home. If your married or with someone, plan on having that ruined by travel, plan on missed weekends, family events, holidays or special events with no regard other than being told "Its part of the job". Service has no work home balance, 120-180+ days a year away.
