Pros

Gaining Banking experience and some great people. They paid well for almost all the positions that I was aware of.

Cons

Upper management! You had certain people in positions that you had no idea how they where promoted to positions they obviously didn’t have the people skills to be in. If you rub elbows with the right people then you where fine. Working hard, loyalty, and doing your job didn’t mean a whole lot.

I enjoyed my coworkers for the most part and the job was pretty easy.

Cons

Poor management all around. Most managers just sit in their office on their phones and act like it’s terrible when their employees or a member needs help. Some even sit in their office and cry about their cheating husband every day for about 3 years straight. Some people can get away with murder there and not get in trouble and some people can make one mistake and the whole world comes crashing down. It’s all about who you know and who’s butt you kiss. If you aren’t willing to kiss up to people you won’t go far at ORNL.
