Pros

Salary for region is very competitive.

Cons

The bottom line is making money. Accountability isn’t enforced. Lots of people doing not much while others are overworked and completely stressed.

Pros

Job security; centralized healthcare; if it makes money OSF has its hands in it

Cons

Catholic healthcare; no male/female contraceptive covered by health insurance, prayer or scripture read at beginning of every meeting. You are not a person you are a mission partner. Every job description is loosely written with the phrase “needs of the department” so they can justify having you do anything outside of your job description. It’s the Walmart of healthcare. One stop shop.
