      Pros

      it is union job with great benefits, you can work in new construction, do repair work, or become a route mechanic, performing preventive Maintainance on a route.

      Cons

      not really a con but, there is a 4-year apprenticeship before you can get your mechanic's card and you have to pay union dues every quarter

      Pros

      Enjoyed the employees and the type of work.

      Cons

      Management has priorities backwards. Rewards only given to those that are insubordinate or unable to handle and complete the work assigned. Very reactive instead of proactive. ACE has driven Otisline to the breaking point.
