      High nurse to patient ratios

      Good benefits and good hours

      Cons

      No indirect charge nurses, charge nurses take 4 patients as well, they don’t honor ratios and during covid children’s hospital nurses were forced to go to the adult hospital making the nurses take 5 patients at a time no matter the patient acuity, no guaranteed lunch breaks and no support staff

      Pros

      Coworkers in some specialties can be ok. But other floors are awful.

      Cons

      Since the pandemic they just need bodies. They will float anyone anywhere. It is short sighted and no one seems to be listening.
