Pros

Ability to make a huge impact to the growth and success of the company. It's not often that you find people that are passionate about their work, experts in their field and just really good people to work with. Everyone is driven and focused. As most companies now use SaaS to run parts of their business SaaS security is an emerging part of the enterprise cybersecurity stack.

Cons

There is always some risk is joining a start-up. Things quickly change and processes are not existent for the most part.

Pros

This is a great company to work for. Everyone is super smart and really nice...the definition of "good people". Upper management is attentive, invested, and responsive. Startup perks, competitive salary, and the chance to contribute in a real way. There's a lot of freedom, so things get done.

Cons

A lot of startup growing pains.

Pros

The total addressable market for Obsidian is exceptional. The organization's focus on third-party security, combined with its Agentic AI Security solution, presents a compelling opportunity to sell a differentiated offering that every Fortune 2000 company needs. For individual contributors seeking meaningful impact and a hands-on role, this is an outstanding place to work — with strong earning potential to match.

Cons

Leadership's deep passion for the mission can occasionally come across as intense, but that drive is a feature, not a flaw. A committed executive team focused on building something meaningful is far preferable to one simply coasting toward an exit.
