Great company to work with, Very organized corporate support system for such an operation, everyone from every level is approachable and friendly as well as willing to help. District Manager is a true professional as well as a source of support and encouragement.

Cons

The workweek for exempt managers is absolutely detrimental to a healthy work/life balance and is a major source of turnover. HIRE BOOKKEEPERS!!!! Managers, especially at closing time, SHOULD NOT be buried in an office in the back occupied with cash handling/ accounting procedure when they are in control of the entire building; they belong on the front end overseeing the closing and seeing the last entries into the building for the well being of the store assets and the associates. Any and all cash out procedures can be done by a trained associate with the guidance and verification of a manager.

Pros

Part-timers accumulate sick time. Management is direct with their expectations. Flexible schedule. Open communication policy. Easy to schedule time off or vacation time.

Cons

Breaks are extremely short (10 minutes). Upper management is very harsh and takes things like late punches, cell-phones and chatting way too seriously for people making minimum wage. A lot of whispering and information through the grapevine.
