Pros
I love going to work everyday. Each and every one of my colleagues have a wealth of knowledge and I learn from them daily. The management has supported me in my role, and are helping me advance my career. The time is right to begin a career at OSJL: we are steadily opening new stores, the company is revisiting policies and procedures, and investing in better training and technology. The owners are always in the building and provide (and join everyone for) free Friday lunch weekly. One of the best things about working at OSJL is the sense of family that you begin feeling on your first day. I have never met a better group of people. I find myself motivated everyday to support our stores and protect the company as a whole. I truly identify with this company and look forward to being here for the bright future!
Cons
The framework of the departments is not up to date with how much the company has grown. With over 120 stores - it's time to evaluate the systems and structure that are in place and move forward in a strategic way. I feel like this correction is already beginning, but it can be frustrating at times.
