Pros

It is work from home. Equipment Provided. Benefits are ok.

Cons

1. If you’re not friends (outside of work) with the supervisors or managers, you’ll never get anywhere. 2. The hourly employees take all the responsibility for the lack of professionalism and communication on the part of the salary employees. 3. The workload is too heavy the the money you get. They continuously try to add work on top of it 4. You have all of the time off you could ask for accrued over time. Don’t try to use it though. It’s definitely your fault that they’re consistently understaffed. 5. They handled covid lockdown HORRIBLY & the mistakes were your fault. 6. Also, don’t try to transfer departments. It ain’t happening.

Pros

The Therapist are some of the finest I have ever worked with. With that in mind, the burn out rate is extremely high with contract Therapist not renewing contracts and turning down offers for full time positions.

Cons

Some members of management don’t like having to work with Therapist who are older than they are. When you add more experienced than they are, you get open hostility where you are told that you are to old to keep up with the work load and should find a position somewhere else). The work assignment’s are made with unreasonable expectations (you’re assigned patients on different floors in different wings of the hospital. You are also expected to do O2 rounds on the other patients on each of your floors, this means you are expected to see roughly 50 patients on each floor on top of the 16 to 18 treatments you are assigned and expected to do in a two hour time frame).

Pros

The only reason to accept employment here is if no one else will hire you.

Cons

As a nonprofit, the organization does not encourage entrepreneurial approaches. The top down C-suite attitude encourages sycophants and ignores performance. Bowing and scraping is highly regarded and rewarded.
