Pros

Ochsner has great corporate benefits but many locations are still run by great team leaders who make you feel like family not just employee #3456

Cons

they do require a great deal of "continued education" work. They are expanding at a rapid rate currently which worries me that they are losing the "family/team" feel.

Pros

Great staffing, great benefits. Flexibility in scheduling. Great patient care. Ochsner is a magnet facility, which is wonderful for nurses.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Ochsner for nurses are having to stay in on the same unit for an entire year before transferring.
