Pros

Ability to interact with coders in specialties with which I was unfamiliar Ability to work remotely after four months working on site

Cons

Was required to travel from Baton Rouge to New Orleans daily for my first few months of tenure. I found it necessary to withdraw from school for a few months due to the amount of daily travel time.

Pros

Work is very important, care provided is amazing and access continues to increase.

Cons

Perception that we don't serve patients with Medicare. Benefits for employees are not great. Health insurance benefits continue to be more restrictive which is interesting for a health care organization. Not very community minded.
