Pros

OfferUp is changing the landscape when it comes to the mobile marketplace and if you are looking for a startup that gives you a voice and a place you can be a part of building the foundation then this would be a great place for you. There are great people across all of the business lines and we are still in a growth phase that is allowing for all employees to truly be a part of what is being shaped here. It is empowering to know that my work is valued and that my opinion and ideas matter. I am excited about the future of this company as we continue to get our processes and procedures dialed in. The company provides flexible work schedules and a great work/life balance. The corporate office in the Bellevue area offers alot of great perks as well.

Cons

If you struggle with change - this may not be the best place for you. Things are constantly evolving and people open to those changes find great success. Change is a constant and I would hope that most people coming into a growing start up environment would understand change will come daily.

Pros

The company has recently beefed up the leadership team, with a new COO, CFO, and CTO. The new leadership has given more organization to the startup and has given the company a revitalized sensation of success. The office is fun to work at, our engineering quality is strong, and I have a strong belief in the future of the company. Compensation is competitive.

Cons

There is constant change within the company with leadership changes and engineering turnover (which has slowed down). Base salary is really good, whereas total comp is heavily built on stock options. Some of the classic startup cons I would say.
