Pros

I am a recent addition to the Okta team and so far so good. I am in professional services and there is a very large focus on improvement and future success of our department. Management seems to be very open and available as required. Focus is being put on standardization and efficient tooling for our department, which is always a plus. - The Administrative On-boarding (typical systems setup/payroll/documentation/etc) was the quickest and most efficient process that I have gone through as a new hire. - Management appears to be available and motivated. - Good group of people and all seem to be very willing to be involved. - Great office and location @ Headquarters

Pros

I have been in tech for 15 years in tech at companies like Sun Microsystems and I have to say that it is by far the best company on almost every count - valuing the opinion of employees - walk the talk when it comes to culture. - My managers really care about coaching me - if you are good rewards will follow - a ton of learning. Technical achievements are celebrated. - Amazingly talented people - our interview process is amazingly good at filtering out people who would not be a good team/company fit, and won't pull their weight when it comes to technical contributions.

Cons

- I miss an onsite gym but I know we will get there soon with Okta-Fit program expanding its charter.

Pros

I feel like we are building something great here at Okta. This is my first start-up and it has been a phenomenal experience. My manager has supported me and many others in my organization in moving to new positions in order to advance our careers. All and all it is a great place to work.

Cons

You have to work hard on life work balance but as our management has stated that is an employee's responsibility to control.
