Pros

Student tutors get good flexibility to support academic schedules. Work conditions were good, and I felt supported.

Cons

Low pay--no benefits, of course, but that makes sense for the position. The major problem is that tutors working with athletes were paid a higher rate than tutors in other departments, which shows that they value sports more than academics.
