Pros

Great environment to learn and develop new skills. We have the opportunity to use our ideas and creations with no micromanaging that allow us to elevate.

Cons

In the marketing department there is not a lot of development/ promotions opportunities. The career opportunities are limited. No gym access, cafeteria, relaxation room, creative room.

Pros

Benefits package is really good however the company utilized to pay for medical bills is horrible. Ameriben they are very inconsistent and do not pay claims timely. At the Ga location and other Southern local companies they are very good about promotion internally and training. However the corporate group CRH that owns Oldcastle APG constantly creates high level positions yet they only tend to hire from the outside even when the local level companies are having to cutback on employee hiring and hours.

Cons

As a happy member of management I have to say there is a Con that I didn't notice at first over the years until the past 3. The same few managers are always doing extra and picking up the slack for other higher level managers that never travel or take on extra work after acquiring more locations and employees. Yet those without the extra work appear to get the most increases and recognition. A former employee that used to have access to payroll confided when they left how hard it was to see others get extra work added to them when we would acquire companies. The females never got an increase for a double work load yet the males did. This is about the only Con that I have because I like the company just disappointed in the lack of fairness with pay between males and females. We are good at taking care of our hourly employees in regards to pay but not our female salary employees
