The pay is above average.

Cons

Plant Manager plays favorites and talks about people behind their backs. Olin McIntosh is a very toxic place to work. Plant Manager promotes people (or their wife) based on past work history at the site when he was attending college. He is rewarding his friends. He needs to be investing money into the plant.

Decent pay and benefits. Generous vacation time.

Cons

Whenever something is given to employees something is taken away. Culture is old school. Claims of flexibility and work life balance all talk. Management totally indifferent when concerns are voiced.

The only good thing i will say is, some of the operators are probably the most nicest and honest people you will ever meet.

Cons

You will not be compensated fairly if you have a higher degree of education. HR are bullies, they tell you one thing and a couple months later will change their words. Your loyalty to the company is not rewarded at all. advancement to a higher pay is band is close to impossible. You only get promoted based on who you know in the organization, and not performance. The bonuses are DOG S****. They will try to get you with the potential bonus you can make in order for you to sign, its called a short-term incentive target otherwise known as STIP. Historically, the company has only been able to reach the target twice in the past 16 years. MORALE amongst engineers is typically down. Use this company as a stepping stool.
