Pros

People were mostly pleasant. Admin office is very modern. Benefits were okay.

Cons

Pay is low for the area. I’ve had a similar job for $30k more. Only took it because I was laid off. Company does not support WFH unless you have an extraordinary case that justifies it. Management is not transparent. HR is just not your friend (not surprising). Bureaucracy galore. Red tape everywhere especially for EHS. Submitting a report feels like having to pass a partisan bill through the senate. Overly political for no real reason.

Poor management in freeport Texas region

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Tons of people leaving the company means lots of new hires and a chance for younger people to get their first job. Lower end on the benefits/ pay scale for the freeport Texas region.

Cons

Very poor management. the benefits and pay is well below the Industry for the houston/ freeport Texas region. This company offers no inclusion for it's employees and has a history of cutting or stopping its 401K matching.
