Smart and interesting colleagues, high growth and accordingly fast career paths, nice firm culture, challenging projects, high salaries

Cons

Getting bigger and bigger - and since the merger between the two Oliver Wyman much more corporate culture than the firm used to have (used to be more entrepreneurial and fun, also known as the "Wild Wild West" in consulting - those times are over)

Pros

Good salary and benefits package, good variety of projects. Very strong client base, especially in Financial Services. Academically excellent consultants with deepening sector knowledge as they progress through the ladder.

Cons

Not much fun. Driven by individuals, not teams. Very specific in the approach to consulting, would not recommend for experienced hires unless you have a strong quantitative/ modelling background. Very little interaction outside formally organized events.
