Pros

Almost every single employee seems to truly care about the company's mission of helping people avoid chronic disease. Folks are friendly and remarkably low on ego. People are working hard to raise the game, across the board.

Cons

Just like any SF company, there's always a lot to be done in a short amount of time.

I love it. Thanks so much for your review! I’m proud to be part of such a driven and dedicated team working to tackle chronic disease. There is definitely a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time, so we’re making sure to scale and invest into talent. If there is anything specific I can do, let me know. Cheers, Sean

Pros

The room is brimming with brilliant, industrious, driven, creative people, all working toward the noblest of aims: reducing the chronic disease burden in the USA. Hands down, these are the best colleagues I've ever had. I'm stretched every day and am learning a lot.

Cons

Things can move quickly, so you can find yourself with a lot of leash. Great for some, bad for others.

Pros

The people are largely amazing. They're creative and smart. The office is beautiful, comfortable and very easy to get to on transit. Dog-friendly with catered salad every day (get in early before the avocado disappears) and a warm meal Friday.

Cons

-Management and execs are very smart and creative, but has little patience for those who need to learn and very little time to teach. Most managers are first-time or relatively new managers, which is great experience for them, but has been rocky for those they manage. -No high-level HR representation. HR lead is currently being handled by another leader with another high-ranking title. It's hard to get issues handled in a timely matter as this person's time is split between two large roles. It's hard to see a company with so many bright people not have a people-focused leader to turn to with questions and concerns. -Below market-rate pay for most positions, not much ability to negotiate or ask for a raise or cost-of-living increase. -A strange environment of people who grand-stand in meetings and won't let others get a word in edgewise, people who have been hired without interviews and people who have worked hard for one or more years at the company without a proper review or compensation adjustment until late.

Thank you for your review. I’m saddened to hear that your experience has not matched our intention of creating an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging environment. You'll be pleased to know that our People and Culture Leader has now joined us, and we're focused on addressing these important issues together. Your feedback is incredibly valuable. Thank you, Sean
